This home was designed with the environment in mind. From handcrafted bricks to naturally heated water, there is something for everyone.
During the day, our house is naturally lighted by plenty of sunshine. There are no gas or electrical geysers for hot water. Water is sourced from streams in the Western Ghats and heated using firewood.
The fitted Barbeque & Bonfire area adds to the current necessities and is placed in beautiful nature to enjoy the fresh air and relax.
The traditional Maland food must not be missed. The Kadabu / Neer Dose / Akki Roti / Shavige / Kesau / Patradee, along with their classic chicken dish, are served with hospitality.
Malanda people are warm and recognized for their hospitality. You just cannot miss out on “Catch your Own Fish” and “Pick your Vegetables from our Farm” and various pickles, Coffee powder, Cardamom, Pepper, and Honey.
